The Company uses an extensive range of specialised coatings for protection of fabricated steelwork, these being applied either at Works or by approved local specialists.

Typical single and multi-coat finishes include (i) shot-blast and pre-fabrication primer with stripe coat at Works; (ii) shot-blast and zinc phosphate, zinc rich or chlorinated rubber primers in conventional or two-pack epoxy finishes; (iii) polyester powder coating for areas such as balustrades requiring a high-quality, hard wearing finish; and (v) galvanising for exposed or harsh internal environments.
