Test Valley Engineers site staff are suitably qualified for all necessary site operations including crane lifting and direction (Slinger/Banksman); MEWP operation (IPAF); MAT erection and use (PASMA); and manual handling using Genie hoists, etc. In addition, all Test Valley Engineers site staff are CSCS certificated for their particular specialised trade.
Prior to the commencement of any work on site, a member of the Company project management team will visit the site and discuss specific project requirements with the Main Contractor’s site staff. A job specific Method Statement and Risk Assessment will then be prepared and issued to both Main Contractor and Test Valley Engineers site staff. Any special lifting requirement will be assessed and the equipment ordered as required. With regards to craneage, the required lift capacity will be calculated and a suitable crane arranged via a reputable nationwide crane hire company. In such circumstances a Crane Lift Plan will be incorporated within the Method Statement prior to issue.
Test Valley Engineers project management staff will regularly attend site throughout the duration of the contract.
